The benefits and challenges of applying Division 2. This intensive two- day course provides you with a sound basis for the application of the Divi- sion 2 Code requirements. Additionally, this Division is not only used by U2 Certificate holders, but offers a lot of advantages for Division 1 users, too. Many of its modern cal- culation rules – including FEA under certain circumstances – can be used for Division 1 vessels as well. This course will not only cover topics such as responsibilities, material, fabrication, inspection and examination, but will also give you a profound overview of the design part. In addition to Part 4 “Design by Rule”, we will explain in detail the Elastic Stress Analysis, Limit Load and Elastic-Plastic Stress Method in the “Design by Analysis” Part 5.
The seminar language is English.
